How to use the materials

0

You should have three books as you begin the course. Please be sure to have these materials before you begin. This is the best way to get the most from this study.

The first book is the Emotionally Healthy Spirituality textbook. You will be asked to read a chapter of this text for each of the following eight lessons. I will share some thoughts, but you will need to read the material to get the most out of our discussion.

The second book is the Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Workbook. This book will ask questions and ask you to discuss your thoughts. You are to discuss your ideas, questions, and thoughts in the Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Forum. That forum is like Facebook, so just write your post and respond to others. The forum is the on-line equivalent of classroom discussion. So, take advantage of it.

The third book is a Day-by-Day Devotional that introduces students to praying Holy Scripture, especially the Psalms. If you are familiar with praying the Daily Office from your faith tradition, then feel free use that form. You may prefer the Book of Common Prayer, the Benedictine Daily Prayer Breviary, the Liturgy of the Hours,or some other Daily Office. After you have read and studied, write your thoughts in your journal or notebook. This will become an invaluable resource for you to continue to return to as you reflect your journey to Emotionally Healthy Spirituality.

If you have not purchased these books, please click on the link below and order them now. Proceed with the course after you receive the books. There is no time limit on this course. It is fully self-paced.
