Using the instruments

Of the four instruments mentioned in this lesson, I have always considered Scripture and prayer to be my “go-to’s” in determining where I am in my relationship with God, as well as searching for His will in my life. Relying on the observations and help of other believers is one instrument I sometimes utilize, but generally only with those whom I have placed a lot of trust and display gifts of Christian maturity. I have never really considered my circumstances as a guiding force in these matters, so this – I think – will prove to be beneficial in future practice.
