Relationships have always been a priority for me. As I’ve aged, they’ve become even more of a priority. But also, as I’ve aged, my introversion has become more pronounced. I find I have less and less energy to invest, even as more and more people seem to want a piece of me. I hunger for solitude, and yet feel called to invest in others. Finding balance is a constant challenge.

Do any of you have a similar struggle? How have you addressed the challenge of finding balance?

Sister Becca, I absolutely share your struggle between prioritizing relationships and having a tendency to be introverted. Finding balance is something I am still working on, but I think recognizing that quiet times give me energy to respond better in my relationships has helped.
