INTRODUCTION

This course uses a student workbook and video series developed by Father Mark Toups and  published by Ascension Press. Therefore, students will need to purchase the workbook, which includes an on-line registration for watching the videos prepared for these lessons. The cost of this workbook is $14.95 + postage.

As we state in the Course Catalog, we are dedicated to bringing the best practical teaching that we can find in the Christian Community and providing those teachings to anyone who desires to learn. Oremus is soundly biblical in its teaching and very practical in its presentation. This study on prayer is taught from a Roman Catholic perspective. Most will appreciate the deep Bible-based principles of Fr. Mark’s presentation. Some may struggle with the various references to the Catholic Church. Perhaps this is a great opportunity to set aside bias from whatever perspective you bring to the course. Just open the ear of your heart to learn. You will be amazed by what you discover! Let’s get started.
